What if I already have a subscription?
No problem! Deactivate StreemPay for any sites where you already subscribe so you don’t pay extra.

Do I have to pay for content?
Yes, it's a live beta experience
What you pay for content goes to publishers
How much do I pay for an article?
You pay based on how much of the article you read
So while article prices range between $0.20 to $2.50, you can open an article for free that is $1.50 and then read only part of it and pay $0.45
You can find the price of any article in the payment bar at the top of the screen
How do I pay?
Credit or debit card
You'll be asked to add your card details the first time you read an article or log into your account
Can I set a limit?
Yes - each title is capped with a monthly spend limit, after which it is free to read
You can also set notifications for when you reach a certain spend, for both specific sites and your account
How much do I pay overall?
It depends on how much you read each month
Track how much you have spent so far on your dashboard
When do I pay?
At the end of each month
You’ll get one credit card charge for everything you have read across all sites
What are the fees?
It is free to have a StreemPay account, so if you don't read anything, you don't pay anything
If you do read something, there is an additional credit card processing fee of 2.9% + $0.80
For example, if you spend $5 reading 12 articles in one month your total bill will be $5.95

How do I stop StreemPay appearing in my new tabs?
Open a new tab
Uncheck the 'Use New Tab Page box' top right
Can I deactivate StreemPay for certain sites?
Yes, open a new tab and uncheck the relevant sites
If you disabled StreemPay on new tabs: click on the extension manager, pin StreemPay to the browser, click on the pinned extension, uncheck the relevant sites
